The “Medieval Interior Starter RPG Tileset” is here! I’m very excited about this release as it is my first paid asset pack. This is a huge milestone for me and I greatly appreciate all the support I have received. **Thank you all for the 400+ downloads and 40+ followers! **

I have become much more familiar with RPG Maker, so the assets in this tileset were tested thoroughly in the engine (MZ/MV) during development. I have learned a lot after my first RPG Maker tileset, the Dark Swamp Starter Asset Pack, so it has much more flexibility with autotiling.

I had a blast making the art for this tileset. I used a lot of references from actual Gothic, medieval buildings, such as Malbork Castle and the Lincoln Cathedral - I wanted a slightly more versatile medieval aesthetic and didn’t want to get too “hokey” with the Gothic style. I also made use of a lot more texturing this time - all of the texture on wood, stone, carpet, etc is hand-made pixel patterns.

POSSIBLE FUTURE EXPANSIONS

Since I really enjoyed making this tileset, I would like to expand on it in the future - some ideas:

• More texture variations with walls/floors
• More furniture/decor
• Character sprites
• Outdoor tileset
